This document sets out the operational terms governing access to and usage of the PollTrack election intelligence platform. It is subject to formal legal review and customized service agreements for subscribing campaign entities.
Platform Terms of Service
Last Operational Update: October 2026
1. Platform Scope and Purpose
PollTrack is a private, multi-tenant software system designed to assist lawful political parties, registered candidates, and election observer directorates in managing field operations, tracking agent attendance, recording internal collation figures, and logging operational incidents.
PollTrack is an internal management tool. It does not provide certified election results, replace statutory electoral returns, or act on behalf of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
2. Campaign Workspace Administration
Subscribing campaigns are assigned an isolated workspace with designated tenant administrators. Tenant administrators are responsible for:
- Safeguarding coordinator and agent login credentials.
- Verifying that recruited field agents are legally authorized to act on behalf of the sponsoring campaign.
- Ensuring that operational records, incident logs, and evidence submissions are submitted in good faith.
3. Acceptable Operational Conduct
Users of the PollTrack platform agree not to:
- Submit knowingly fabricated result returns or false incident reports.
- Attempt to breach, tamper with, or access the workspace of another political organization.
- Engage in denial-of-service attacks, automated credential stuffing, or platform disruption.
- Represent internal PollTrack collation screens as official INEC declarations.
4. Suspension & Security Enforcement
The platform administrators reserve the right to suspend any campaign workspace exhibiting evidence of security compromise, credential abuse, or violation of these terms. Workspace suspension terminates active sessions and revokes mobile access tokens immediately, while preserving underlying election evidence intact.
5. Governing Law
These terms and all operational deployments are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
For custom enterprise master service agreements (MSAs) or SLA requirements, contact the PollTrack technical deployment directorate.
